Customizing Your Slime Texture The final texture of your slime depends heavily on your Borax activator concentration! We recommend staying within the 2% to 8% range to achieve your perfect consistency:

• Target: Thick Texture

  • Method: Use a High Concentration activator (6% - 8%).
  • Result: A thick, heavy, and ultra-holdable slime. It resists sticking to your hands and holds its shape exceptionally well!

• Target: Soft & Stretchy Slime

  • Method: Use a Low Concentration activator (2% - 4%).
  • Result: A loose, fluid, and super-stretchy slime. It’s absolutely perfect for endless stretching, drizzles, and loud bubble pops!

Fragrance & Scenting Guide:

• Water-Soluble is Best: We highly recommend using water-soluble fragrances. They integrate flawlessly with our specially formulated clear glue and help maximize the lifespan of your slime.
• Oil-Based Limit: If you are using oil-based fragrances, please keep the usage rate under 1%.
• For Stronger Scents: If you prefer a stronger scent and need to add more than 1% of an oil-based fragrance, please pair it with an emulsifier or surfactant. This will help the heavy fragrance oils fully and evenly dissolve into the slime without separating or leaving a surface(oil) film.

Tips: Always add activator slowly, a little at a time, to avoid over-activating.

1. Low Concentration (~2%)

Best for: Soft, stretchy, and flowy slime.

• Recipe:
  
  1 cup of warm water
  1 teaspoon (tsp) of Borax powder
  
  
• Instructions: Mix until the powder is completely dissolved.

2. High Concentration (~8%)

Best for: Thick, holdable Putty textures.

• Recipe:
  
  1 cup of hot water
  4 teaspoons (tsp) of Borax powder (Note: 4 teaspoons is roughly equal to 1 heaping tablespoon)
  
  
• Instructions: Because this is a strong solution, use hot water(>140°F / 60°C) to ensure the Borax dissolves fully. Stir vigorously.
