Thick Watery Slime Safety Tips
Thick water slime contains a lot of glycerin and borax.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Base
- Add 10 g of cationic guar gum into a mixing bowl.
- Pour in 20 ml of medical glycerin (or pure glycerin if you prefer).
- Stir the mixture until it forms a slightly sticky yellow liquid, similar to the consistency of beaten eggs.
Step 2: Add Titanium Dioxide
- Add 10 g of edible titanium dioxide into the mixture.
- Stir thoroughly. You may notice clumps forming—keep mixing until the titanium dioxide is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
Step 3: Add Warm Water
- Pour in 500 ml of warm water (40-50°C). Cold water can also be used, but warm water makes the process easier and more effective.
- Add 0.8 g of citric acid to the mixture.
- Stir continuously for about 5 minutes. The solution will become thicker, resembling a mixture of water and flour.
Step 4: Mix in the Clear PVA Glue
- Add 100 ml of clear PVA glue to the mixture.
- Stir until the glue is evenly distributed and the mixture is uniform.
Step 5: Activate the Slime
- Gradually add 5% borax solution to the mixture, a little at a time.
- Stir constantly as you add the borax solution. The mixture will start to thicken and form slime.
Tips for Customizing the Texture
- For a more watery texture, increase the water to 1000 ml and the clear PVA glue to 150 ml .
- Adjust the amount of borax solution to achieve your desired level of thickness.
Key issues in making Thick Watery Slime
If you get a watery slime that breaks when you pull it, it means there is too little glycerin or too much borax.
